Isn't there a way to keep them on the computer or do I always need the SD Card handy. The charts do appear but when I remove the SD Card they disappear. If you want to update the maps, you must purchase a new card. Reduced price map updates are not available for these cards. Maps on a microSD/SD card require a unit to be viewed on a computer with BaseCamp or HomePort, depending on the type of map. I'm trying to copy the charts into HomePort. To view and use the maps on this card, you must have a device with a microSD/SD card slot.
